Florian Gatzweiler

I'm a computer science student at JKU Linz with a strong interest in data science, software engineering, and building technology that solves real-world problems. Alongside my studies, I work at BMD in Steyr, where I help develop and maintain accounting software. I enjoy improving existing systems, solving complex problems, and creating software that remains reliable long after it has been deployed.

Beyond technology, I'm passionate about discovering new places and documenting them through photography. Whether I'm exploring a thermal spa, hiking in the mountains, wandering through a new city, or simply enjoying a quiet café, I like capturing the details that make each place unique. With my camera, phone, or drone, I try to preserve landscapes, architecture, and everyday moments that might otherwise fade with time.

This website brings together both of my passions. It's a place where I share software projects, photographs, and honest reviews of the places I visit—from hidden local gems to unforgettable weekend escapes. My goal is simple: to document meaningful experiences and inspire others to discover places worth their time.
